The BBTS Annual Conference offers three days of information, inspiration, and collaboration.
Tailored to the specific needs of the transfusion professional, BBTS 2023 brings together delegates from around the globe to share ideas, learn from peers and develop professional contacts.
A three-day programme of 22 sessions includes presentations, talks and workshops delivered by more than 90 speakers. An award ceremony to recognise great work and inspiration in the profession. There will be over one hundred abstract posters on view and also on the conference app, reflecting key work and innovations from all aspects of transfusion. In addition, delegates have the opportunity to network informally at a number of social events, including the spectacular Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
Over 30 exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate products, advise on services, and answer delegates questions about the latest in transfusion technology and products. Transfusion professionals can take advantage of the opportunity to meet potential new partners & colleagues and learn about cutting edge developments within the field. Bursaries are awarded to assist key works from band 6 or below in the attendance of the event. All activities will be covered on the conference app available to delegates for six months after the event.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All transfusion professionals in the UK, Europe and the world who wish to extend their continuing professional development through an accessible online format with legacy materials being made available. BBTS conference delegates are, Scientists, Transfusion Practitioners, Consultants, Nurses, Doctors, Lab Technicians and a range of other transfusion professionals.
