CPD information for course and event suppliers

The College approves local, regional, national and international events for CPD purposes. We approve all types of virtual and face-to-face events including conferences, webinars, seminars and other educational training activities. We also approve courses for CPD, again both virtual and face-to-face delivery.

Events tend to be of a few hours or days, and can be held more than once a year. Courses tend to be more substantial programmes. Events and courses should both have a clear agenda, with aims and objectives, or more detailed learning outcomes.

Our event approval application service is the more commonly used recognition service as there are so many different forms of learning that can be delivered through events, and as events can vary so much in length and depth. Our course approval application service is clearly still relevant for CPD purposes.
