TOPICS COVERED
There is an excellent programme of invited speakers and submitted abstracts with focus on gene therapies, AI and ethics, big data and developments in genomics medicine.
We have a sponsored talk from Alexion about a new paediatric treatment for NF1 over lunch. This is followed by concurrent abstract sessions, a panel session discussing developments in genomics in the UK and the BSGM Lecture.
After the conference we are hosting a 2 hour networking reception for delegates to further connect with each other.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Professionals working in genetic healthcare including clinicians, scientists, nurses, counsellors, researchers, industry, charities and students. Members of the BSGM have a discounted registration fee but the event is open to all.
SPEAKERS
Among the confirmed speakers are Prof. Dr. Stephen Gilbert (Technical University of Dresden, Germany), Prof Rafael J. Yáñez-Muñoz (President of the British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy), and Prof Sian Ellard (University of Exeter Medical School) who will be giving the BSGM Lecture.
