Overview

This webinar will focus on the findings related to resuscitation in pre-hospital settings. We will explore common iatrogenic injuries that can arise during resuscitation attempts. We will discuss the various medical devices  and procedures used in the field, alongside the significance of post-mortem findings.

  • Dr. Lina Carmona Echeverria

    Dr. Lina Carmona Echeverria is a Neuropathology Registrar based in Cambridge. Originally from Colombia, she began her medical career as a Urology Clinical Fellow in London. After earning her PhD at University College London, she developed a keen interest in histopathology, with a particular focus on post-mortem pathology

  • Dr Ben Swift

    Dr Ben Swift has been a Member of the Home Secretary’s Register of Forensic Pathologists since 2006, providing a suspicious death service primarily to East Anglia and London, though also to the South East of England. He is a Partner in Forensic Pathology Services, one of the largest Forensic Group Practices in England and Wales, and is engaged full time in the practice of forensic pathology.

    He has published on forensic pathology, and is an Honorary Consultant to the Royal London Barts NHS Trust for on-going work with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Team and London Air Ambulance Service (HEMS).
